Lowcountry Autism Foundation, Inc. is a local, volunteer based, non-profit corporation dedicated to supporting individuals and families living with autism in Beaufort County, Jasper County, Hampton County, Colleton County and surrounding areas.
Our Mission is to provide direct financial, service and advocacy support to individuals and families who face the challenges of living with autism.
Our Goals are to promote optimal developmental outcomes through awareness of the importance of the earliest possible screening, diagnostics and intervention of children from zero to age 6. We serve all children, adults and families facing the challenges of living with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental delays.
The Lowcountry Autism Foundation’s policy is to provide, support and promote evidence–based treatment and intervention strategies, commonly used in mainstream practice. The Lowcountry Autism Foundation provides high quality, free or low fee autism services. Fees are reduced or free based on need; need may be financial, situational or cultural or the families willingness to assist LAF with fundraising events or program events.
