Lowcountry Autism Foundation, Inc. is a local, volunteer based, non-profit corporation dedicated to supporting individuals and families living with autism in Beaufort County, Jasper County, Hampton County, Colleton County and surrounding areas.
Our Mission is to provide direct financial, service and advocacy support to individuals and families who face the challenges of living with autism.
Our Goals are to promote optimal developmental outcomes through awareness of the importance of the earliest possible screening, diagnostics and intervention of children from zero to age 6, develop a local multi-disciplinary diagnostic team capability, and provide financial assistance for intervention services based on need. Funded services may include the full spectrum of standard health care requirements, therapies and associated equipment. Need may be financial, cultural or situational. The Lowcountry Autism Foundations policy is to support and promote evidence-based treatment and intervention strategies, commonly used in mainstream practice.
The Lowcountry Autism Foundation provides all autism services free of charge to our clients.
